Halloween Powerpoint Lesson Plans and Activities
Welcome to my Halloween Powerpoint Lesson Plans page that focuses on English and Math powerpoint presentations. On this page, you will find teaching powerpoint lessons to present to your students for homophones, verbs, addition, subtraction, and math word problems.
Since it is difficult to describe each of my Halloween powerpoint lesson plans in words, I have made a video of each presentation for you to watch that will give you an idea of what each lesson contains, as well as helpful tips for you if you use one of these lessons with your students. I hope that you find these videos helpful, but please be aware that I am an extreme novice at making videos!
Many students find traditional grammar and math exercises boring and dull. I encourage you to use Halloween powerpoint lesson plans to bring life to these boring exercises.
I have designed my power point presentations and lesson plans to be engaging to your students. The power point presentations on this page are all based on the theme of Halloween.
My powerpoint presentations have been designed using two fonts: Arial Black and Comic Sans. I chose these fonts because they are the most widely found on most computers, and they will not change the style and format when viewed on your classroom computer. I use graphic animations and powerpoint animations when I am designing my powerpoints, and I try to locate colorful background templates for the presentations that I prepare.
If your school does not have a video projector for you to use, I highly recommend buying one yourself. Once you see your students engaged and interested in your powerpoint lessons, you will want to continue presenting new lessons to them using this technology. I bought one for my classroom to use with my students, and it was the most worthwhile money that I ever spent of my own for my classroom and students. It literally changed the way I prepared and delivered my teaching lessons.

There are 25 sets of questions and answers in this powerpoint lesson, as well as a student response worksheet for them to write their answers on.
You can individualize this activity by replacing the names in the sentences with the names of the students in your classroom. Your students will laugh out loud when they see their names included in the Halloween powerpoint lesson.
