You can use these incentive charts to promote and encourage your students to read. Your students will be motivated to reach the target of getting 17 stickers on these reading apple sticker charts.

What's Included?

There are 17 sticker boxes on these apple shaped incentive charts. I have designed the boxes inside the sticker chart to fit the standard small stickers that many teachers use. If you do not have these small stickers, you can draw a smiley face or place a check mark inside each box.

I personally like to print out the color red and green apple templates. I give each student an apple sticker chart and have them write their names inside the name box. Then, I laminate these sticker charts. By doing this, later when I take each student's sticker chart off of my bulletin board, the chart does not accidentally rip. I also think that it looks impressive to parents to send home these colored laminated sticker chart templates when they are completed so that my students can post them in their bedroom, or on the refrigerator, as a sign of their reading achievement.

I realize that not all teachers are able to print out color templates for each of their students, so I have provided black and white templates of this chart. You can have your students color their reading apple sticker charts themselves using the black and white template.

This sticker chart set contains 34 pages of printable resources and contains the following components:

You can cut out these reading apple sticker charts along the thick black lines to have unique apple shaped incentive charts.

You can present this award to your students when they have completed their Reading Apple sticker charts. A black and white copy of this award certificate is also included in this set.

Your students will be excited to take their completed apple sticker charts home with them, along with their matching achievement award. Their parents will be impressed with the extra effort that you have put forth in positively reinforcing and encouraging your students to read books on their own.

Below is an example of the matching student award certificate that is included with this sticker chart set. There is also a black and white copy of this award included in this resources set.

Bulletin board displays and preparing them take a lot of time for teachers. Many teachers spend their valuable time cutting out large display letters or making a banner on their own at home on their computer.

This time is valuable and better spent on developing your classroom curriculum and grading papers, so I have designed a matching 5 page display banner for your bulletin board. If you have access to a laminating machine, you can laminate your banner so that it is durable and you can use it year after year for your bulletin board display of these Reading Apple Sticker Charts.

Below is my September Calendar Set. The September title is a 2 page banner that should fit in most standardized monthly pocket charts that many teachers use. I have designed large September days of the week that you may find useful.

The calendar number dates also fit in pocket charts, and I have included a blank square and a birthday square to use. There are 11 pages in this September Back to School bulletin board displays calendar set.

This September calendar set also includes a list of writing prompt ideas for September.

For this reason, I have created a variety of different types of book report projects for my students to complete after they have read a book. Instead of being bored, my students are excited and engaged when they are completing their book report templates and projects. My students look forward to doing these projects and ask me when they get to do their next project. By combining reading incentive charts and creative book report projects, my students have been very enthusiastic about reading books independently.
